October Updates

Hi all!

We are coming back from spending last week in Jackson Hole Wyoming at a beautiful IMSS conference. We had about half our ASCLS-MT board in attendance which gave us a great opportunity to see each other and get a jump start on our year. Our fall board meeting is set for October 26th and we have tons of information to talk about. Our membership campaign has started and we will be reaching out to lapsed members in the next few weeks in hopes of helping them renew. IMSS launched the Leadership Academy for the year which includes two of our state board members. Dani Bodeker and Tiffany Ashworth. We are so excited to see what their project will be this year! IMSS was absolutely gorgeous and fun as always. We got a chance to hear talks about Leadership, CRISPR-Cas9 (look it up, its amazing!), and the new DCLS. If you don’t know about the doctoral path that has opened up in Clinical Laboratory Science, you have to check it out! A big thank you to all our Montana folks that help plan, support ASCLS, and attend IMSS. We had a great educational conference! Hope to see you all next year!
